The Intellect security platform now supports the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller. This is the first device integrated into AxxonSoft’s software via ONVIF Profile C designed for IP access control systems. AxxonSoft products already support ONVIF T, S and G profiles. The AXIS A1001 incorporates 14 configurable inputs/outputs and 5 accessory power outputs. It supports both Wiegand and OSDP readers and controls either a single door with entry and exit readers or two doors with a reader and exit button on each. The Intellect PSIM receives events from the AXIS A1001 and supports door management operations: lock/unlock and close/open. An early fire notification system based on intelligent video technology successfully passed comprehensive testing in Miloshevichi forestry station (Lelchits district, Gomel region, Belarus). Based on the Axxon Intellect PSIM platform with smoke detectors powered by deep learning, the sample system includes three PTZ video/thermal combos located on 35 meter-high lookout towers. The customer, Belgosles state enterprise, is completely satisfied with the test results. Cameras automatically pan 360 degrees to scan the forest for rising smoke. The neural network was specifically trained in similar environments to distinguish smoke from clouds, fog, and dust. The detection distance ranges up to 50 km in clear weather. Video and thermal images are displayed on an operator’s monitor along with an interactive map where current camera FOVs are indicated. In October 2018, ONVIF announced the newest Profile T standard as an extended set of functions for video analytics and video/metadata streaming. As of February 16, 2019, Axxon Next VMS and Intellect PSIM officially support the ONVIF Profile T standard. This makes AxxonSoft the first vendor to establish server-side support for the new standard. The ONVIF Profile T device interoperability protocol supports compression and streaming with H.264 and H.265 codecs. H.265 video codec exceeds its predecessor H.264 in compression efficiency and processing high definition video streams. H.265 video takes up less disk space to store and less bandwidth to stream. That means lower total costs of system ownership.
