Axxon Next video servers are interconnected inside a domain. The system configuration database is copied to all the servers for distributed storage. This means that there is no single point of failure: even if one of the servers fails, the others will continue to work and provide access to their cameras and recorded video.

The decentralized architecture is optimal for small-scale systems.

For large distributed systems, the cross-system client is used instead.

For distributed systems with central monitoring, use the Star architecture.
